Kick off the weekend festivities with our community parade starting at 6:30 PM. After the parade, head over to the rodeo grounds for "Boots 'n' Beats", an evening of live music and fun!

Boots 'n' Beats: Free admission - music by the Windjammers at 8:00 PM and there might even be a line dancing lesson included. Bring your friends and family and help us celebrate the start of rodeo weekend in style!  Food and drink will be available for purchase and bar sales will be open.

Saturday, September 5

Gates Open: 8:30 AM

• Gates will be open at 8:30AM on Saturday - Daily admission rates apply once gates open. Come early to visit the kids zone and watch contestants compete in slack! Slack refers to the overflow of contestants in timed events such as tie-down roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway roping and team roping. Contestants compete outside the main rodeo performance times when there are more entries than can be accommodated. Come down to the rodeo grounds to catch the action! You are welcome to stay all day or leave and come back for the rodeo performance at 1:00PM

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Rodeo Slack

10:30 AM – Kids Corral (Zone) Opens

• Lots of fun activities for kids - special show begins at 11:00 AM

11:00 AM – Live Music & Rodeo Market

• Live music by Ross Fairweather on the concourse - listen while browsing the vendor offerings
• Shop local vendors at the Rodeo Market - NEW this year is an Indigenous Market area

1:00 PM – 4:00 PM – Rodeo Performance

3:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Tailgate Party by the Saloon

• Live music by Coldwater Road 

8:00 PM –  Midnight - Rodeo Dance 

• Dance ticket required, over 19 only (may need to show ID)
• Gate opens at 7:00
• Featuring the popular local band Coquihalla Coyotes
  
• Please, NO PETS at the dance

Sunday, September 6

Gates Open: 8:00 AM

8:00 AM - Pancake breakfast dished up by Rotary Merritt

• Tickets available on-site: options start at $7.00 for a breakfast sandwich! Or choose one each pancake, egg & sausage for $10 or a full breakfast of two each for $15. All breakfasts include coffee or water.

9:30 AM - Cowboy Church

10:30 AM – Kids Zone Opens

• Special show begins at 11:00 AM

11:00 AM – Live Music & Rodeo Market

Dog Policy:

Dogs are permitted on the rodeo grounds but must be on leash at all times. Seating with dogs is only allowed in the West Grandstand (the section closest to the stall buildings).

PLEASE - no pets at the dance!
