Kick off the weekend festivities with our community parade starting at 6:30 PM. After the parade, head over to the rodeo grounds for an evening of live music and fun!

Saturday, August 30

Gates Open: 8:30 AM

New for 2025

Gates will be open at 8:30AM on Saturday - Daily admission rates apply once gates open. Come early to visit the kids corral and watch contestants compete in slack! Slack refers to the overflow of contestants in timed events such as tie-down roping, barrel racing, steer wrestling, breakaway roping and team roping. Contestants compete outside the main rodeo performance times when there are more entries than can be accommodated. Come down to the rodeo grounds to catch the action! You are welcome to stay all day or leave and come back for the rodeo performance at 1:00PM

Dog Policy:

Dogs are permitted on the rodeo grounds but must be on leash at all times. Seating with dogs is only allowed in the West Grandstand (the section closest to the stall buildings).

Be prepared to be dazzled as the 2025 Nicola Valley Pro Rodeo proudly welcomes back Noémy Coeurjoly and Keely Sutherland, two of Canada’s most thrilling trick riding sensations.

Noémy Coeurjoly hails from La Belle Province de Quebec. A fearless Roman and Trick Rider, Noémy has captivated audiences at prestigious events such as Le Festival Western de St-Tite and the Calgary Stampede. Her breathtaking blend of athleticism, glamour, and daring performance will bring unmatched excitement to this year’s rodeo.

From Onoway, Alberta, Keely Sutherland has spent the past ten years bringing her fast-paced, high-energy trick riding act to rodeos across the country. In 2019, she earned the title of Canadian Open Trick Riding Champion, a testament to her dedication, skill, and showmanship. Keely’s dynamic performances continue to thrill rodeo fans nationwide.

Cowboi Cole

We are thrilled to have Cowboi Cole returning for his second year at the Nicola Valley Pro Rodeo! As our official Rodeo Hype Entertainer, you’ll find this Cowboi in the crowd throwing out swag, finding the rodeo fans with the best dance moves and busting out wild rope tricks. Cole’s non-stop energy will have you clapping along, singing along and cheering along to the rodeo action. Don’t miss our famous Boot Race where Cowboi Cole will act as our official Race Marshall. You’re not going to want to miss out on the Cowboi Cole fun!
